1. Registration IONOS Summit

To participate in our IONOS Summit, you must register in advance. We will use the personal data you have entered in the input fields of the registration form. These are, taking into account the specific event requirements: Name, company, position, e-mail address and, if applicable, telephone number. We use the aforementioned data for the purpose of registration and organisation of the event. In addition, we will send information emails about the event to the email address you have provided in advance and during the event.

We use the service provider GuestOne GmbH to carry out the aforementioned event registration.

The legal basis for data processing is the provision and realisation of the IONOS Summit in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

2.Advertising contact and data transfer to external partners

In the event that you have consented to being contacted for marketing purposes, we will use your contact details for IONOS' own marketing purposes. In the event that you have also given us your consent to pass on your contact details to our strategic partners, we will pass them on. IONOS SE will subsequently provide you with the names of the strategic partners upon request.

If you have given your consent, we or our partners will contact you by telephone or e-mail to inform you about our products.

The legal basis for the aforementioned data processing is the consent you have given in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time, for example by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the advertising email or by sending a message to news@ionos.com. If you withdraw your consent, your contact details will be deleted immediately.

3.Production of photo and video recordings

IONOS intends to make photo, audio, film and/or video recordings of speakers and visitors at the Summit. The recordings will then be used for promotional purposes on the IONOS social media channels.

The photographs are taken by IONOS or by photographers commissioned by IONOS. These may be individual, multi-person and/or group portraits.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR in the promotion of our events. If you do not wish photos or videos to be taken, please inform the photographer on site.

4.Feedback form

You have the opportunity to tell us what you think about the IONOS Summit. We will use your answers for the purpose of improving our events. You are free to decide whether you want to answer our questions.

The legal basis for the aforementioned data processing is the consent given by you in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR.

5. Cookies

LinkedIn enables the integration of some of its services, such as Insight Tag, Post-Embeds, Apply with LinkedIn, Login with LinkedIn, on third-party websites. We have currently integrated the following LinkedIn tags for our tracking purposes:

-This cookie is used to synchronise the IDs of LinkedIn Ads.

6.Storage duration

Your personal data, which we require for the purpose of registration, will be deleted 30 days after the end of the event. In addition, we also store your personal data for the duration of the fulfilment of the other aforementioned purposes and then delete it. For example, your data will be processed for the duration of your consent to receive advertising emails.

In the event of an objection or cancellation, the data will be deleted immediately, unless statutory provisions oblige us to store the data for a longer period (HGB, AO etc.).

The regular limitation period is 3 years in accordance with § 195 BGB.

7.Transfer to third countries

As a rule, IONOS SE does not transfer your personal data to countries outside the EU. In certain cases, however, it is possible that your personal data may also be transferred to third countries by service providers we use. For more information on the transfer to third countries and the corresponding guarantees pursuant to Art. 44 et seq. GDPR can be found in the aforementioned data protection information.

8.Your rights as a data subject

8.1. Right to information (Art. 15 GDPR)

In accordance with Art. 15 GDPR, you have the right to request information about your personal data processed by us. In particular, you can request information about the processing purposes, the categories of personal data, the recipients, the planned storage period and your rights as a data subject. If the data was not collected directly from you, you have the right to be informed by us about the origin of the data.

8.2.Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)

You have the right to correct and/or complete your personal data if it is factually incorrect or incomplete.

8.3.Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data stored by us, insofar as the processing is necessary to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfil a legal obligation such as compliance with statutory retention periods, for reasons of public interest or for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims.

8.4.Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

In the following cases, you have the right to demand that we restrict processing:

- You have disputed the accuracy of data and we should not use it in the meantime until the final review.

- The processing is unlawful, but you do not want the data to be erased, but would prefer the processing to be restricted.

- We no longer need the data and could delete it, but you still need it for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims.

- You have lodged an objection to the data processing, which is still being examined.

When restricting processing, we ensure that the personal data cannot be further processed or changed by us. If the restriction has been restricted in accordance with the above conditions, you will be informed by the controller before the restriction is lifted.

8.5.Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you, which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and, where appropriate, to transmit those data to a third party.

The right to data portability does not apply to the processing of personal data necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller.

8.6. Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)

You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning you which is based on point (e) or (f) of Article 6(1) GDPR. This applies equally to profiling based on these provisions.
